Surah Spoils of war, booty [Al-Anfal] Ayah 75 Location Madanah Number 8
مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسۡرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثۡخِنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ [٦٧]
Un Profet nu ar trebui să ia prizonieri [de război] până când nu a fost cu greutate pe pământ, nimicind [pe dușmanii lui Allah, luptând împotriva lor, învingându-i și punând spaimă în inimile lor, pentru a nu se mai ridica împotriva sa]. Voi [unii musulmani] voiți bunurile acestei lumi, în vreme ce Allah Voiește [pentru voi] Lumea de Apoi, iar Allah este 'Aziz [Puternic] [și] Hakim [Înțelept].
