ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ أَنۢبَآءِ ٱلۡغَيۡبِ نُوحِيهِ إِلَيۡكَۚ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيۡهِمۡ إِذۡ يُلۡقُونَ أَقۡلَٰمَهُمۡ أَيُّهُمۡ يَكۡفُلُ مَرۡيَمَ وَمَا كُنتَ لَدَيۡهِمۡ إِذۡ يَخۡتَصِمُونَ [٤٤]
Acestea sunt dintre veștile necunoscutului pe care Noi ți le revelăm ție [o, Mohammed]. Tu nu ai fost lângă ei, când ei au aruncat calemurile lor[9] [pentru a hotărî] care dintre ei să o aibă în grijă pe Maria și nu ai fost lângă ei nici când ei au dezbătut.
